Penthouse Apartment

This is where I live with my husband of 30-plus years. The casually elegant design never overpowers the magnificent views of Puget Sound, the Olympic Mountains, and the Space Needle. Just the same, each room has my signature attention to detail: a modern French chandelier in the dining room references the Space Needle. Malachite-photo ceramic tiles make a dramatic accent wall in the guest bath. What appears to be a wall of solid marble (but is the newest development in porcelain) is the striking focus of the primary bath, which has a large shower with grout-free walls and an invisible drain. I added humor in the often-overlooked laundry room with a pop of wallpaper and coordinating carpet tiles.
